I just saw this information and thought others might be interested…

There is a “Rebuild” utility in MAS90 version 4.x that can be used to fix damaged files. So the bad news is your file got corrupted. The good news is there is a utility to fix it. But I have some more bad news for you. There’s a good chance you’re going to lose some of your data when you “Rebuild” it.

If these people had SAFeDATA they could just restore their files to a date before the damage took place…

Late one evening when I was ready for bed I received a frantic call from my own church pastor. He knows I sell offsite data and disaster recovery called SAFeDATA. He was in a panic. His computer had slowed down, and all he could think of was his church records going into oblivion. His computer loaded with all the pertainent church financials had just gotten into problems and he was not sure how to handle this crisis. He begged for a solution to the huge mess he was in. He explained how all the church attendance,tithes and offering records that he was to foreword bi-weekly had to be available at any time for audit by the Mother church and how he would seem less than capable as a new Minister by not having a backup plan. He was desperate! He was not very knowledgeable on computers.
